IC Care is looking for people in the Wollondilly and Camden areas who want to give back to our ageing community!

Are you a music lover? Do you sing or play an instrument? Are you passionate about people? It is an opportunity to use or sharpen your music skills and bring a smile to our residents.

We are looking for someone to coordinate a resident based choir. If you are musical and can commit to once a week or fortnight, we'd love to hear from you.

As you may imagine the lock down was a lonely time, so we have created some new volunteer roles to help reduce social isolation and help the elderly who live independently to reconnect back into the community.

PCYC Queensland’s Braking the Cycle program supports young people to complete their mandatory 100 hours of supervised driving in a safe and suitable vehicle with a volunteer mentor. The vehicles are kindly donated by the community. Leigh Place is seeking a volunteer bus driver with an HR licence for 2/3 monthly outings, mainly on Thursday or Friday. Volunteers make an incredible contribution to residents' health and well-being, avoiding social isolation, anxiety and depression.
