Amana Living is dedicated to holistic care for all our residents, including providing compassionate care to those who are approaching death. The No One Dies Alone Companion (NODAC) Program aims to provide residents with the companionship and support of another person at the end of their lives. We are actively seeking applications for new volunteers to provide comfort and support for residents at the end of their life.

Do you want to make a difference? Do you enjoy interacting with older people and getting to know them through friendly chats? We are looking for experienced volunteers to become Volunteer Visitors and regularly visit with lonely elderly people living in an Aged Care homes in the Morningside area. All you have to do is be a friend. If you have 1 hour to spare each fortnight, please get in touch to find out more!

Drive a minibus on half or full day outings for aged care and/or independent living residents. . A team member will be in attendance for all aged care outings. Driver must have LR Licence. ***To be referred to this role an interview with Volunteering Central Coast is required. You will be contacted soon to arrange a mutually convenient time and place. ***
