We are seeking a Volunteer Visitor, in the Frankston area to offer friendship and companionship to an elderly person, living in an aged care home and spending a lot of time in her room.

Would you like to visit an older person in her home and make a real difference in her life? One hour per week goes a long way in creating new friendships and alleviate solitude. We have a lovely lady in Hastings who would benefit from your friendship and would love to be taken out for a coffee, a walk, or a visit to the beach.

Help an older person live independently in their own home by assisting them with their essential food and grocery shopping.

Coffee Shop Assistants - for both our Dellacourt and Yallaroo Aged Care facilities

Companion for Outings: Outings - Involves assisting the Divisional Therapy team with a larger number of residents on an outing. Volunteers required for All Aged Care Sites.

We are seeking volunteers to visit older people weekly in their home or chat with them on the phone. Volunteers can commit as much or as little time as they like. We try and match a volunteer with similar interests and experiences as the older person so both parties can develop a friendship based on common interests.

Aged Care - Nail Care Volunteer required for all sites, Dellacourt, Yallaroo & Arrunga.

Kitchen Assistant - Do you enjoy cooking and preparing food? Social Connections Volunteers assist with preparing morning tea and lunch for the participants. Volunteers can help from one to five days a week.

Kitchen Assistant is required to help out in kitchen with preparation and service.

Volunteers to collect meals from the hospital and deliver them to people in the community seven days a week. Volunteers use their own car and must have a current driver’s licence.

Aged Care - Transport will assist residents get to and from appointments for our Dellacourt Aged Care Facility.

Aged Care- One on One Visitor focus visits. Volunteers required for all sites.

Out of Town Outings - This role is an all-day position 8am start end of day between 3pm-4:30pm.

1 Hour per week of your time is all it takes to put a smile on an older persons face. We are looking for friendly, compassionate and caring volunteers interested in enriching the lives of older people living in residential aged care or at home.
