We are looking for a Food Hampers Volunteer who can assist with food hampers preparation every Thursday from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm to effectively distribute food hamper boxes to our low-income / disadvantaged community.

The Community Grocer runs weekly pop-up fruit and veg markets in communities experiencing food insecurity, making culturally relevant and high-quality food affordable and accessible for all. Alongside the market, we have a thriving box delivery scheme. We are looking for a volunteer cyclist to bring their bike and attach a trailer to deliver fruit and veg boxes to local residents and community organisations.

Volunteer once per month or more frequently based on your availability. Sunday May 11, 2024 A family-friendly, fun-filled morning requires no special skills, experience, or training – just your presence and enthusiasm. Some tasks may include directing and encouraging participants around the course, selling merchandise, and handing out participants' packs. There is even a role for the keen bike riders out there! We need volunteers on the day from 7 a.m. to approximately midday in various roles.
