OzHarvest, Australia's leading food rescue organisation, requires the services of a Volunteer Food Rescue Assistant, to assist our Van Driver in collecting quality surplus food from the food industry and distributing it, same day, to local charities who provide food relief to people experiencing food insecurity in our Cairns community, as well as reducing the environmental impact of food waste!

The Kokoda Youth Foundation is a dedicated and passionate non-profit organisation committed to running experiential youth programs, which help young people gain physical and mental resilience, confidence, and instill in them the values of Courage, Endurance, Mateship and Sacrifice through the story of the Kokoda Campaign in 1942. The Kokoda Challenge is a signature event that embodies these values and is the main fundrasing avenue for the Kokoda Youth Foundation.

We need someone that can assist the facilitator to setup and greet participants. The person will also be responsible for introducing new people, facilitating group interactions and helping with clean up after the sessions.
