The 94th Mudgeeraba Agricultural Show will return on the 29th and 30th of June 2024. We are now seeking volunteers to join our inclusive Show Crew.

We are looking for outgoing and friendly people to join our Brisbane Relay For Life Committee.

As a volunteer you have the opportunity to make a difference by: - Short term help for the individual person or family could be in the form of food from our pantry and assistance with rent and bills. - Our members and volunteers delve deeper and build trusting relationships with the people we assist, uncovering the longer-term help that may be required. This is often done through actively listening, sharing stories and responding with assistance such as budget counselling.

We require volunteers to assist to set up and pack away for wedding ceremonies/receptions.

RDA is a voluntary organisation providing equine-assisted activities for people with disabilities to develop and enhance abilities through programs such as riding, dressage and carriage driving. Horses provide vital mental and physical stimulation for our disabled participants, improving their confidence, increasing their autonomy and delivering immeasurable amounts of pleasure. There are many and varied opportunities for volunteers at our centre.

The Townsville Folk Festival is an annual, volunteer run event. It is a family friendly 4 day camping and live music festival.

The Regional Lead is responsible for the Regional Operations Team (ROT) but will be provided with support and assistance from the International Operations Team. The Regional Leads will be invited to participate on the IPT calls on a monthly basis to maintain communications between the IOT and ROT’s. Support from the various IOT teams i.e. volunteer management, marketing and communications will be provided as required. Regional Leads will also be able to access Operations Support.

Gain experience in events and program delivery assisting our team to deliver a wide range of programs at award winning Bankfoot House Heritage Precinct. From education programs with local schools, to performances and exhibitions, heritage talks and festivals. You will gain experience in project development, event delivery and be actively involved on-site assisting with set-up and pack-down, program delivery, ticketing and registration, food and beverage and visitor engagement.

Track Marshalls have the best seat in the house, watching racing up close and reporting any incidents via radio. They also get a free drink.

Events and Festivals We have many annual, as well as one off events that we need volunteer participation. eg; Australia Day Event etc.

The Cube Wodonga - Ushers Assist with patrons to their seats; - Supervise patrons during a show; - Assist staff and patrons in the case of an emergency/evacuation; - Merchandise selling-on occasion; - Requires strong customer service skills and a helpful personality. - On-site training available. - Availability- during the week and weekends, evenings for shows/events with some matinee times on occasion.
