Dedicate 4 hours a week from home, providing compassionate phone support to caregivers and the bereaved. Violet Guides deliver this support over the phone, at no cost to the carer. A Sound Life provides therapeutic and trauma informed yoga and meditation sessions with our participants of varying physical and mental abilities. We offer a popular weekly lunch with a three-course meal of soup, main and dessert, which changes weekly depending on ingredients and the occasion. We're looking for someone with kitchen experience to volunteer each Wednesday from 11am-2pm. The role involves food preparation and plating food. You'll be working with a small team of kitchen and dining volunteers and the program coordinator.
