Vinnies Youth is seeking volunteers who are looking to make a real positive impact on the lives of young people in the area on our Buddies Day program. Our Buddies Days are for children aged 8-12 and are designed to develop the confidence and emotional intelligence of the young people we serve while providing respite for parents and caregivers. The program helps young people learn new skills and make friends.

We are looking for volunteers who enjoy a morning walk and engaging in conversation with children. The role is to support children to get to school in time for their studies and build road safety awareness. Each 'walking bus' will walk along a set route with two or more adults leading and collecting the children at designated stops and walking them to school.
