Pets for Life Volunteers provide practical support as guided by the owner in the care of their companion animal. The role is two-fold in that while assisting to maintain the animal’s welfare, volunteers will also be interacting with and become a support/contact for the older person. Isolation of the older person will be dramatically reduced through the volunteer visits and interaction around the animal’s care.

Be part of something great as a volunteer driver at Balwyn Evergreen Centre for our weekly Bus Outings. Each Tuesday we take a minivan full of seniors to locations around Melbourne for a day out with friends. The role includes picking up and dropping off clients from their homes, driving to and from the destination and having fun along the way.
