Do you speak Italian - we would love to meet you! At MiCare, we don't want anybody to be lonely. We are looking for female volunteer who can speak Italian to spend some quality time with an elderly lady who lives in Avondale Heights. Your visit may be spent reminiscing about the good old days and family, celebrating Italian festivities while sitting around having a cuppa or enjoying a leisurely activity like going for a short walk, do a puzzle, read Italian stories etc.

Events and Festivals We have many annual, as well as one off events that we need volunteer participation. eg; Australia Day Event etc.

We are in need of volunteers who are keen to become radio broadcasters for the community radio. If you are not confident of broadcasting - then there are various other opportunities available including - Research, Event Management, Technical Skills, Admin support and Volunteer coordination.

Come along to our Play and Learn Playgroup at Moorditj Kulungar Kwinana. This session provides learning through play opportunities and a safe space for children and families to connect. The Playgroup is for children aged 0 – 4 years led by our Aboriginal Resource Worker, we provide opportunities for Aboriginal families who visit us to learn about the first 3 years of a child’s life and prepare them for school.

Interchange is a program within UMFC’s Carer Aged and Disability Service and provides support to children and young people with disability and their families/carers. Community Radio Program Preparation with local community radio. 103.9HopeFM is founded on Christian principles, and is operated entirely by volunteers. Preparation for programs involves a variety of tasks, including: pre-recording content, scheduling content, editing audio files, downloading content from the web, ripping content from CD’s, & maintaining the music library. We are a community station that broadcasts family friendly content that aims to bring hope, share joy & build community.
