Food given according to instruction on the food voucher referral form. • On food delivery days, assist other volunteers to restack shelves from delivered pallets. • Assist with keeping the centre clean and tidy. • Maintain records of consumer food parcels according to the system in place.

Volunteering with Citizens Advice Bureau is an interesting and rewarding way to ‘give back’ to the Western Australian community. Our volunteers come from diverse backgrounds – but the thing they have in common is their strong desire to help others, their ability to communicate clearly and concisely, their great customer service skills and their computer skills.

Volunteers provide support to vulnerable community members accessing Emergency Relief by conducting face to face interviews with consumers who are presenting for assistance, and help facilitate access to material goods and vouchers, and referrals to other programs and agencies.

A WEP Local Coordinator meets high school students from all over the world in this highly rewarding role. WEP coordinators are an invaluable and a very much appreciated member of the WEP Tribe. They provide support to host families, a safe space for students from all over the world and create excitement in their local community.
