Down syndrome Victoria runs a social group for adults with Down syndrome, we’re called Club21. Club21 has been going in Melbourne for over 10 years and we are very excited to bring Club21 to Geelong! Club21 goes out on weekends and does fun, social activities together: going out for lunch, singing Karaoke, watching a show. We are looking for volunteers to support the Club21 social group

In this program the person with Down syndrome will be matched with a volunteer partner. The program runs throughout the term and participants go to the gym together with their matched volunteer once a week followed by a meal with other participants and volunteers.

Inclusion Melbourne’s Leisure Buddy program matches like-minded people to undertake social activities within our community on a fortnightly basis. We are focused on creating genuine, long term connections between volunteers and our Leisure Buddy participants. Therefore, we require a minimum commitment of 12 months and two to three hours per fortnight.

Join our dedicated team at Vision Australia and help make music accessible to individuals with vision impairments through our Braille Music Transcription Service. Volunteer for a three-hour shift once a week. Work remotely over the phone, with music scores emailed to you for transcription.

We are seeking a volunteer one day a week (with preference for Wednesdays from 10:00am – 2:00pm) to be the first point of contact for our front reception, by meeting and greeting visitors into our Kooyong centre at Vision Australia. Interchange is a program within UMFC’s Carer Aged and Disability Service and provides support to children and young people with disability and their families/carers. Interchange is supported by volunteers to create social and recreational opportunities through group and individual activities. Group experiences include After School Activities, School Holiday Activities and other activities as planned.
