We need qualified volunteers to drive a 22-seater wheelchair accessible bus during school hours. Students with physical disabilities, under the direct supervision of staff, are transported to off-site educational programs. Operation of loading hoist is involved. ***T

Road2Work Volunteer Driving Supervisors assist people living with disability and looking for work, to gain their Probationary Licence to increase their employability, enrich their everyday lives and open up their opportunities. Road2Work volunteers will use a Maxima car to assist our customers to add to their required log book hours and helping them achieving this goal.

The Volunteer Driver is responsible for the transportation of Beyond Blindness Members to various services offered by the organisation including social groups, bus trips and occasional medical/shopping trips and can include one-on-one social time. Volunteers are welcomed as part of the small team in the southern area. All volunteers are given training to assist blind persons. The Volunteer Driver will be required to use their own vehicle which will need to have comprehensive insurance.
