Cairns Children’s Museum is a not-for-profit whose mission is to offer hands-on, interactive, educational exhibits and play spaces for the children in Cairns and surrounds. RDA is a voluntary organisation providing equine-assisted activities for people with disabilities to develop and enhance abilities through programs such as riding, dressage and carriage driving. Horses provide vital mental and physical stimulation for our disabled participants, improving their confidence, increasing their autonomy and delivering immeasurable amounts of pleasure. There are many and varied opportunities for volunteers at our centre.
