We are looking for an Emergency Relief (ER) volunteer who is non-judgmental and can commit to attending every Thursday. Our ER Volunteers deliver a responsive and appropriate service providing equitable access to all members of the community. Suits volunteers who have had experience with interviewing and can display an understanding and empathy to members of the community who need assistance. Basic computer skills essential.

While the primary role of the SES is to respond to incidents involving floods and storms, it also provides crucial support and assistance to other emergency service organisations. SES is open to men and women with a reasonable degree of physical fitness and a passion to get involved within their community. When a natural disaster strikes or an emergency situation arises, DFES’s SES volunteers can be found providing a wide range of volunteer services to help the community.

Volunteer Now! Collie SES is a team of dedicated volunteers who respond to natural hazards such as storms, floods, cyclones, and earthquakes, & assist with land searches, & fire ground support. The Collie SES Unit are seeking new volunteers to work behind the scenes & assist the front-line crews. Support members are essential to the operation of unit activities by assisting & supporting operations from the unit or non-frontline locations.
