YPRL is seeking a new **Reading Dogs team** to join Thomastown Library. Our Reading Dogs program promotes children’s literacy by having children read aloud to dogs at the library. Our mission is to make reading fun and enjoyable for children so that they become confident and lifelong readers. Reading Dogs are accredited companion animals who volunteer with their owner/handler as a team by facilitating reading sessions. Calling all cooking lovers or retired chefs who would like to give back to their community! We are in much need of a volunteer to help prepare and serve nutritious & delicious meals to our lovely clients onsite at our Leisure Centre activities in Guildford. These social outings are so important to the lives of our clients as they get to enjoy a friendly and safe space for them to socialise, enjoy a day full of activities and have a delicious home cooked meal in good company.

Volunteers required in our dementia specific Activity Centre's. Key duties can include the following, assisting our Activity Officers with activities, assistance with preparing meals, serving of meals, general kitchen duties, becoming a bus host on our Community Transport bus, which would involve transporting clients to and from Centre. If there is a particular role you are interested in, then that is completely up to you.
