Special Olympics Melbourne Inner East (MIE) is seeking one or two enthusiastic volunteers to organise, administrate and oversee our Bocce Program. The Bocce Coordinator(s) will work under the direction of the Club Sports Coordinator and State Bocce Manager. The Capel Regional Equestrian Park has been successful in securing funding from CSRFF and the Shire of Capel to build a new multi-sports pavilion. We now need to source additional funding to finalise the project. The role will be to oversee the building of the new premises and manage the distribution of the sponsorship package to businesses within the region, and then follow up the prospective sponsors. A spreadsheet of all businesses approached will need to be maintained.

They need someone to: * facilitate & support these volunteers fund raising activity * open up at 7:30 am and help set up for trading * be the on-site Covid Marshall * support the juniors if any simple problems arise * meet and greet patrons, explaining our venture * meet with the juniors occasionally to brain storm ideas
