Uniting provides door to door transport service to people who have no means of transport to medical appointments. We need reliable drivers to transport older people and those with disabilities or chronic medical conditions to and from health and medical appointments.

Volunteer by assisting older people living in their home connect with their community. This may involve visiting the older person in their home or taking them out in the community to access services, do their shopping or attend appointments. Participation of older people in their community reduces their loneliness, improves their physical and mental wellbeing and provides them with motivation and confidence to undertake their daily living tasks. A reliable car is required for this role.

Volunteer Technology Tutor in Bathurst. We are looking for volunteers that are savvy with modern technology and can help people wanting to learn more about their mobile phones, iPads or internet.

Volunteers are required to assist in the setting up and running of artists' exhibitions.

Volunteer required to assist with transporting clients to appointments and events, explaining documents and forms to clients, assisting Multicultural Officers in completing paperwork, advocating for clients when required and to assist in one off events when needed. You will need to have good interpersonal skills, be approachable, demonstrate a genuine interest in supporting refugees and be able to communicate well with both refugees and workers.

This role is varied, ranging from assisting aged care residents and Club Connection participants with particular activities or just being there for a chat, providing company and support.

Indigo Calling is a telephone visiting service within the Indigo Shire.

UNIFORM 4 KIDS This is an initiative by uniform 4 kids, NSW Police and Orana Community Centre. Repurposing pre-loved uniforms into clothes for children who have a need.

Part of the Cultural exchange programs, conversations the volunteer will assist with all aspects of the program in the following way, assist set up activities in preparation for the day, with morning or afternoon teas, with clients with activities as directed, and support staff in the provision of activities including participating in client outings when required.
