Kingston Toy Library is a wholly member owned toy library, serving the local community with over 2000 toys. We operate just like a book library but with toys. Volunteering with us will give you the opportunity to experience how a library service operates as you assist with all aspects of library operations. You will gain skills of value for the workplace, be a valued part of the team, while also having the experience of a community run service.

Seeking lovers of books or organising wizards to volunteer in a primary school library for a minimum of few hours per week. Schools are often overburdened and under resourced. They rely heavily on the generosity of their local community members so that the children attending have a safe and congenial learning environment. As the saying goes "It takes a village to raise a child", be part of your village.

The Knox Toy Library Inc provides the perfect alternative to buying a room full of toys that are no longer played with. But we need some volunteers to help us with our Friday and Saturday borrowing sessions.

As a Toy Librarian you will be required to oversee the borrowing and returning of toys, ensuring they are maintained in good condition and working order e.g. cleaning, changing batteries etc and assisting with the general 'smooth running' of the Library.
