As a Volunteer Event Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the Give Write team through coordinating and running our Volunteering sessions. Are you interested in clinical and community based volunteer work? Are you over the age of 18 & physically fit? Volunteer with your local sub-centre as a Volunteer Ambulance Officer. Attend emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls as well as other duties as required. Commitment is approx 60 hours annually, based on 1 shift plus training per month. To continue to operate in your role, you must maintain the competencies required & appropriate level of fitness as roles are physically demanding.

Duties are fairly straightforward and will involve preparing food for recess & lunch, collating orders, washing dishes and serving at recess & lunch. No previous experience is needed. Marine Rescue NSW saves lives on the water, providing 24-hour emergency response, returning thousands of boaters in trouble safely to shore every year. Every unit requires a support crew. Become a member of our fundraising team and play an essential role in the day to day operations of our unit.

Do you like boats and sailing? This role involves collecting a 3.5M poly boat on a purpose-built aluminium trailer with an electric start 4-stroke motor and towing it 500 meters to a public boat ramp. Launch the boat with the help of club members, drive the boat out onto Throsby Creek and lay markers to create a sailing course. Return to shore and be on standby to collect distressed model boats if required. When racing has concluded, collect the buoys & return the boat to its original location.

The Event Coordinator plays a vital role in planning, organizing, and executing events to support the fundraising, outreach, and awareness efforts of Search Dogs Sydney Inc. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of event logistics, from conception to execution, to ensure successful and memorable experiences for participants and attendees.
