VA is seeking volunteers who can assist with our SWISH recreation activity being conducted in Bendigo. The role involves clients with varying vision loss and the program is designed to provide social and recreational opportunities.

We are looking for presenters and technical operators to be a part of our local radio teams. Vision Australia radio put print to audio, and ensure all members of the community have access to community information and news. Volunteers will receive full training to undertake the role, as well as mentoring from fellow radio volunteers.

Dedicate 4 hours a week from home, providing compassionate phone support to caregivers and the bereaved. Violet Guides deliver this support over the phone, at no cost to the carer. Down syndrome Victoria runs a social group for adults with Down syndrome, we’re called Club21. Club21 has been going in Melbourne for over 10 years and we are very excited to bring Club21 to Geelong! The program runs throughout the term and participants go to the gym together with their matched volunteer once a week followed by a meal with other participants and volunteers.
