We are seeking a positive, well-organized, and strong leader to guide our Volunteers. You will coordinate the Volunteer induction process, provide assistance and support, right through to off boarding. This work site is accessed through the locked gate on Pittwater Rd East Ryde just south of the Rene Street roundabout. The work will benefit the local flora and fauna and the walkers using the Great North Walk. No experience needed and all are welcome and a qualified bushregenaeration trainer will assist the group for the first seven months.

We are seeking a volunteer one day a week (with preference for Wednesdays from 10:00am – 2:00pm) to be the first point of contact for our front reception, by meeting and greeting visitors into our Kooyong centre at Vision Australia. After settling into the role, there is flexibility for other half day shifts for e.g. 9:00am – 1:00pm or 1:00 – 4:30pm from Monday to Friday.

Repair Lab Melville is a community event run by volunteers who use their skills to help people repair items that would otherwise be discarded and sent to landfill. Repair Lab Assistants will help set up and pack up the event, help Repair Lab Melville attendees to carry items for repair into the venue, answer general enquiries and direct attendees to repair stations.
