Inclusion Melbourne believes that everyone within our community should be able to live in an inclusive community, supported by people who genuinely care for them, and have equal opportunity to participate in community life. Through our volunteer programs, we provide social support and friendship to people with a cognitive disability and older Australians who are at risk of loneliness and social isolation.

Inclusion Melbourne’s Leisure Buddy program matches like-minded people to undertake social activities within our community on a fortnightly basis. We are focused on creating genuine, long term connections between volunteers and our Leisure Buddy participants. Therefore, we require a minimum commitment of 12 months and two to three hours per fortnight.

Volunteering with Valley RDA is a very rewarding experience assisting riders with varied abilities to reach their goals as a rider whilst improving their physical mental and emotional well being. As a Volunteer Policy Officer, you will examine existing policies, identifying areas for improvement and addressing any non-compliance issues. You will be involved in rewriting or restructuring policies to enhance clarity, effectiveness, and relevance. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including staff and management, to gain an understanding of the organisation's operations to produce a final report of the implementation of said policies.
