Healthy Cities Illawarra has an exciting opportunity for volunteers to work alongside Healthy cities Illawarra’s health promotion Officers to assist with the delivery and evaluation of the Active In-Betweens program. The Active In-Betweens program supports children aged 8-12 years living in communities considered disadvantaged. It provides a weekly after-school program in local community settings with a focus on healthy lifestyles and physical activity.

YPRL is seeking a new **Reading Dogs team** to join Thomastown Library. Our Reading Dogs program promotes children’s literacy by having children read aloud to dogs at the library. Our mission is to make reading fun and enjoyable for children so that they become confident and lifelong readers. Reading Dogs are accredited companion animals who volunteer with their owner/handler as a team by facilitating reading sessions. Invisible Illnesses Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with invisible illnesses, such as mental health disorders, chronic pain, autoimmune diseases, ADHD, and PTSD. We offer a range of services and support to our community members, including workshops, peer support groups, emergency relief, and well-being services.

Pets of Older Persons (POOP's WA) is an incorporated non-profit association staffed entirely by volunteers. Our volunteers provide a range of services including home visits, animal feeding, dog walking and transport to/from vet clinics or boarding kennels. POOP's cater specifically for people over 65 years of age - or palliative-care patients of any age - who have no relatives or friends willing or able to take responsibility for their pets in times of need.
