Down syndrome Victoria runs a social group for adults with Down syndrome, we’re called Club21. Club21 has been going in Melbourne for over 10 years and we are very excited to bring Club21 to Geelong! Club21 goes out on weekends and does fun, social activities together: going out for lunch, singing Karaoke, watching a show. We are looking for volunteers to support the Club21 social group

This position is central to coordinating and administrating our volunteer-driven activities. As a key part of our team, you'll help facilitate effective communication channels between volunteers and our organisation. Inclusion Melbourne’s Leisure Buddy program matches like-minded people to undertake social activities within our community on a fortnightly basis. We are focused on creating genuine, long term connections between volunteers and our Leisure Buddy participants. This is an exciting opportunity to work behind-the-scenes for the JFF and gain valuable professional experience. The Coordinator will be responsible for researching contacts for local promotions, recruiting and managing volunteers, and assisting staff during the film festival Opening Night. This is a semi-volunteer position.
