The purpose of our Home Visit service is to reduce the social isolation of our clients who may be feeling disconnected from their community. Have you got a few spare hours to visit an elderly person on the Northern beaches ? Do you enjoy engaging with people and making a meaningful difference to the lives of others ? Shopping Support Volunteers are needed. There are older people in our community who need the support of a friendly, caring and reliable person to assist them with their grocery shopping. If this sounds like you, MWP Community Care would love to hear from you. Volunteering and giving back back to your community makes such a significant and meaningful difference to the lives of others.

We weed prune and mulch home gardens to make them low maintenance, to make things easier for the client between our visits. We are a friendly group and always stop for a "cuppa" which we share with the client.
