Our mission is to make reading fun and enjoyable for children so that they become confident and lifelong readers. Reading Dogs are accredited companion animals who volunteer with their owner/handler as a team by facilitating reading sessions. Our volunteers help our borrowing sessions to run smoothly and help us keep our toys in good condition, and are only possible thanks to our wonderful volunteers! Assist with the operation of the Book Trolley at our Centre. This role involves processing donated books and magazines, including screening suitable books and magazines for content. You will organise and maintain the Volunteer Library, organise and transport the book trolley, offer books and magazines to consumers, their carers, and families in our Centre and provide general support and/or conversation to involve them in positive connections.

We require sorters for our Op Shop located in Gympie. No experience necessary just a friendly face and someone willing to learn. Sorters daily tasks change as required due to the goods donated on a daily basis. Do you have a favourite area? We require sorters for books, clothes, bric a brac, manchester, shoes, jewellery and lots more.
