Remembrance Park Central Victoria manages a number of cemeteries in the Bendigo area and is looking for Gardening and Painting volunteers for a variety of tasks. Someone who is friendly and enjoys meeting and talking to people.

Your basic sewing machine skills, or willingness to learn, will be useful in this role sewing wildlife rescue pouches and basket liners. Only straight line sewing, and patterns are cut along straight lines. All equipment is provided. Pouches and liners are sewn to specific sizes and designs and are given to local wildlife carers as needed. Timing is flexible - between 8am and 1pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

We require planters and weeders to continue our revegetation work in The Susannah Brook Reserve.

We are looking for a reliable person to assist us one to two days per week to keeping our Residential Care Home looking its best. Duties may include tidy up of our gardens, pruning, site rubbish pickup, minor repair or maintenance, changing light globes. BBQ checks. pressure washing paths. re-arranging storerooms, painting and lubricating door locks. If you feel this is a good match for you, we'd like to hear from you.

We take all volunteers, young and old. You can either use your existing Sales, Management or other skills or we can teach you some new ones. We provide low-cost local native plants to the public and park organisations. We hope that by encouraging the planting of local native plants this will increase the biodiversity & climate resilience of the Whitehorse area.

You will assist our property staff by participating in activities related to the maintenance and general upkeep of our property. Repair Lab Melville is a community event run by volunteers who use their skills to help people repair items that would otherwise be discarded and sent to landfill. Repair Lab Assistants will help set up and pack up the event, help Repair Lab Melville attendees to carry items for repair into the venue, answer general enquiries and direct attendees to repair stations.
