Peplow House provides short-term crisis accommodation for single men aged 18 years and over who are homeless. Support is also provided to help individuals access longer term accommodation, and address issues that are impacting opportunities for longer term accommodation. The Family Drug Helpline provides information, support and referrals to people who have someone in their life using alcohol or other drugs. The helpline is staffed by volunteers. THIS IS A PEER SUPORT ROLE, filled by people who have personal experience of being impacted by someone’s substance use. This lived experience is the key selection criteria.

Maroondah Winter Shelter provides a safe and warm place for homeless males to stay overnight during the winter months, 7 nights per week. Home cooked meals are provided. As a volunteer you would be making a difference to the lives of those who have been sleeping rough.
