Volunteers have powered Doutta Galla Aged Services since the beginning. Founded by a community group in 1991, our volunteers are an important and valued part of our service delivery.

Do you enjoy craft and knitting. Would you like to volunteer with our residents sharing your knowledge or learning from our residents about knitting crochet or any craft they enjoy. Volunteer with us and support our residents and clients to ensure they can continue with active participation in living the life they choose. Your presence will help support them and keep engaged with interests and community connections.

Share your time and companionship during weekly / fortnightly friendly visits with an elderly lady living in Taylors Hill.

At MiCare, we don't want anybody to be lonely. We are looking for volunteer who can speak Greek to spend some quality time with an elderly greek couple who live in Bentleigh. Your visit may be spent reminiscing about the good old days and family while sitting around having a cuppa or enjoying a leisurely activity like going for a short walk.
