VMCH is currently welcoming volunteer Mini-bus drivers to assist the lifestyle teams at VMCH Residential Aged Care to provide weekly bus outings. You will be accompanied by staff who will look after the resident's whilst you provide a pleasurable and safe journey. The mini- bus requires NO special license and seats 10 passengers.

Once a month the club has an outing to a café to enjoy morning tea together. Transport frail and isolated people in the City of Knox and people with disabilities to medical appointments, planned activity groups and one on one shopping. Driving positions available in Lysterfield, Rowville, Ferntree Gully, Knoxfield, Wantirna, Boronia and Bayswater.

Meals on Wheels (MOW) volunteers play an integral role transporting nutritious meals from a MOW meal provider to older people in our communities. For many MOW recipients, the volunteer is the only person they see that day, so the service also plays a vital role in social connection and monitoring wellbeing of older people. If you are a caring and compassionate individual with a vehicle, a drivers' licence, and a desire to help people, then we would love to hear from you!
