Knox Environment Society is looking for nursery volunteers to help propogate and sell native plants. The Knox Environment Society (KES) is a membership-based organization of like-minded individuals that have a concern for the environment. KES work closely with Knox Council, other Environmental Groups, Friends Groups and individuals to achieve the Society's objectives.

Want hands-on work that actually helps the environment? We grow local native (indigenous) plants from seed or cuttings for revegetation projects or local gardens. Our retail area is open to the public for plant sales. More indigenous plants in gardens and larger revegetation projects provide habitat for native animals, birds and insects, and reduce species loss. We rely on volunteers but lockdowns hit us hard. Please help us get back to the thriving nursery from before the pandemic!

ECOSS thrives on the wonderful input from our Volunteers. It would be very difficult for ECOSS to develop and progress the way we do without our Volunteers. From working in the nursery and in our gardens. including the Community Garden, helping with our projects and events to helping in the office, our volunteers give a large amount of time. We are looking for a retail assistant to join a vibrant and fun social enterprise supporting the local and new migrant community. You will work closely with our diverse and dynamic designers and artists, look after our customers and help support our newly arrived migrant trainees in the shop.

Our ambassadors have specialised knowledge of the park and are able to assist our visitors on a day-to-day basis, at our events, and seasonal activities throughout the year.
