The West Warrnambool Neighbourhood House supports diversity by promoting community participation and inclusion. Volunteers wanted for a variety of interesting activities! We are looking for presenters and technical operators to be a part of our radio team. Vision Australia radio put print to audio, and ensure all members of the community have access to community information and news. Volunteers will receive full training to undertake the role, as well as mentoring from fellow radio volunteers.

Job Description Summary The role of the Music Ministry Member is to bring their musical skill to play selected tunes as directed Music Ministry Leader. In worship services, Music Ministry Members hold an important role in setting the mood and enhancing the service’s message, preparing congregants for the experience, whilst performing for the public brings awareness to the local corps and services.

Mernda Repair Café will be the first community Repair Program for the community of Whittlesea hosted at the Mernda Community House and outdoor community space. Join the Team: Be an Eco Warrior and help the community to reduce waste going to landfill. To assist with repairs of guitars that a community members has brought to the event. To share your knowledge of guitars and maintenance with the community.

We are looking for female volunteer who can speak Italian (Calabrese dialect) to spend some quality time with an elderly lady who lives in Brunswick West. Your visit may be spent reminiscing about the good old days and family while sitting around having a cuppa or enjoying a leisurely activity like going for a short walk.
