Intermediate Emergency Care Provider Being the person or persons to respond to any medical/first aid needs off and on the track during a race meeting. These race meetings are held during the weekend. Some are two day events.

St John volunteers come from all walks of life. We have youth members, students and professionals from a variety of industries including health care working hand in hand, learning from each other, building their skills and making friends.

Researchers at NeuRA and UNSW are recruiting for a study to determine if Virtual Reality Walking is effective as a treatment for complete Spinal Cord Injury neuropathic pain. The treatment is home-based so people living anywhere in Australia can participate. Participants can receive a total of $200 for completing all trial activities. All VR equipment is provided!

A Consumer Advisor is a member of our community who can voice a lived experience of health care at Western Health.
