To bring joy and social connection to an older person by visiting them in their own homes - in and around the Inner West. You may be able go for a short walk together, go to a cafe or stay indoors for a cuppa and a chat. Approximately an hour a week or fortnight at a time to suit both of you.

Aged Care Volunteer Visitor (ACVV) aims to provide friendship and companionship to older people who are lonely and isolated, and help develop social connections in our local community.

Volunteers to visit lonely and isolated residents in an Aged Care Facility to provide social support and friendship on a weekly/fortnightly basis.

We need sincere women who have the heart and passion to help create change, and empower the lives of women in need. We are unique in what we do. Make friends in a diverse group that has a shared goal: to bring kindness, encouragement, connection, and caring support into the lives of women in need.

Assist local seniors with tech-related queries and issues, such as smartphone, tablet, or computer troubleshooting. Suitable for people aged 16+ years, no previous work experience required. Volunteers have the opportunity to move to paid roles in the future.

Join The Violet Initiative as a Violet Guide and support Australians through one of life's most challenging stages. Dedicate 4 hours a week from home, providing compassionate phone support to caregivers and the bereaved. Violet Guides deliver this support over the phone, at no cost to the carer. Every Guide receives full training and on-going support, but most importantly, every Guide comes with the lived experience of caring for someone they love. Apply by Wednesday 5 June 2024.
