HUB Neighbourhood Centre runs a Women's English Conversation classes on Fridays from 10.00 - 11.30am. Inala has people from many diverse cultures predominantly refugees, who attend the classes. We are looking for more volunteers to support the group to continue to run. Classes do not run during school holidays.

Crime Stoppers is a Registered Charity and Community Volunteer Organisation that is not government funded and is not a part of the police department. Crime stoppers is an organisation that assists police by collecting crime related information through an anonymous system and provides the information for police. Crime Stoppers Volunteers raise funds for a rewards program, and for the purchase of promotional merchandise required for educational purposes. Meetings are held monthly.

As a VIP you would be offering support to Officers by carrying out a range of crime prevention tasks that complement the responsibilities of Gold Coast Police members, allowing officers to remain focused on operational tasks. Currently only one intake a year is held, applications must be made prior to attend a mandatory 4 day training session. This role is for long term, committed, and conscientious persons.

Gold Coast Tool Library (GCTL) is looking for an organized team member to carry out the recruitment and training of our volunteers. Experience in recruiting and managing staff would be an advantage in helping us to develop and grow our Tool Library and Volunteer numbers. We currently open on Saturday mornings 8.30-11.30 but would like to eventually expand our service.
