Cairns Children’s Museum is a not-for-profit whose mission is to offer hands-on, interactive, educational exhibits and play spaces for the children in Cairns and surrounds. Our aim is to become a space that inspires children to play, explore, wonder and be curious about all things STEAM. We have a range of exhibits and interactive experiences for children to engage with, including a wind tunnel, the longest kaleidoscope in the southern hemisphere and our imaginative play area, Tiny Town!

We require sorters for our Op Shop located in Nambour. No experience necessary just a friendly face and someone willing to learn.

We are looking for Friendly Retail Members who will enjoy interacting with our customers and other team members. When rostered on you will help with sales, sorting donations and all other aspects of running a charity Op - Shop

Friendly and welcoming volunteer retail assistants are sought for our Op Shops. This role has a variety of duties including sorting, pricing, ironing and presentation of stock. Duties may also include cleaning of donated items for sale, as well as vacuuming and general cleaning/tidying of the shop. Opening Hours 8.30am - 2.30pm Monday - Friday Saturday - am potentially. HUB Neighbourhood Centre runs a Women's English Conversation classes on Fridays from 10.00 - 11.30am. Inala has people from many diverse cultures predominantly refugees, who attend the classes. We are looking for more volunteers to support the group to continue to run. Classes do not run during school holidays.
