We are looking for volunteers to drive our refrigerated van to pick up food donations and transport them to our Community Hub to help feed the people experiencing homelessness.

Do you enjoy driving and working with seniors? Would you like to be a part of a great team, supporting people to live independently in the community? If you love to drive, have a current C class drivers’ licence and enjoy a chat, we assist older people to get to medical appointments, go shopping and out to see loved ones, Mon on weekdays. Our drivers are well supported to be responsible for the welfare and comfort of their passengers to their appointment and home.

Do you enjoy driving and would like to mentor people to assist with their practical driving? A Driving Mentor with the Mirrabooka Program is an initiative that provides a client extra driving practice to gain the 50 hours minimum requirement practical driving. Clients are from multicultural background who may have limited English. A MercyCare purpose fitted vehicle is provided and located in Mirrabooka.
