Working as a Give Write Driver will see you visit various donation points where generous community members drop off stationery. These will be brought back to our Subiaco office so we can re-purpose them for disadvantaged WA kids.

Assist canteen manager to prepare and serve ordered school lunches (eg rolls/sandwiches).

Assist in delivering educational programs to students that foster tolerance and combat discrimination. Volunteers facilitate small group discussions with high school students to empower them to stand up to injustice.

Volunteers come on any week day from 9.30am to 2 pm to help prepare and serve food for the school’s recess and lunch breaks. Duties include food prep, dishes, general cleaning and selling and restocking food and drinks. Closed in shoes and a current Working With Children card are required and we will supply aprons and headwear.

Mercy Connect engages trained volunteers, with an educational background, to provide additional support and mentoring to asylum seeker, refugee, humanitarian visa students at a critical time in their settlement in Australia.
