Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) is a WA Police Force program to help neighbours watch out for neighbours.

The Pillowcase Program is a school-based disaster preparedness program designed to help students aged 8-10 (years 3 to 4) build their knowledge and capacity in disaster preparedness. We are seeing emergencies occur more frequently and with more severity. This project is part of the broader, emergency preparedness, response and recovery programs of Australian Red Cross.

Red Cross has been responding to emergencies and providing humanitarian assistance in Australia since 1914. We are committed to strengthening and extending our emergency aid services to assist all Australians in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies. As part of our Emergency Services team, you will join a group of over 900 trained volunteers ready to assist locally and across the state in times of emergency.

Our Gatekeepers to the Universe welcome our visitors to the historical Perth Observatory nestled in state forest in Bickley. These Administration volunteers get to do a variety of tasks from showing visitors around the museum and shop, to handing office tasks. The Constable Care Safety School is working to address our children’s safety on the road and as pedestrians, come help children between 4 -12 years old learn vital safety skills. The Safety school is open Monday – Friday from 9am -1pm, where you assist children during this fun interactive program. Volunteering can be one day a week, a fortnight or month for a four-hour shift. Sadly, road trauma is a leading cause of death and serious injury in WA children, come make a difference!

Neighbourhood Watch is all about creating a safe and secure community – getting to know your neighbours, noticing any unusual or strange behaviours in and around your area, and reporting information to Police.

Outgoing and engaging personality willing to learn about wildlife and pass the knowledge on to others in an interactive manner. Conduct both onsite and off site educational experiences.

Echo Community Services is a registered charity providing care to the elderly in their own home to preserve dignity while still maintaining their independence. We provide in home services 7 days per week for HCP clients and 5 days per week for CHSP clients. As a registered charity, we are approved as host organisation for Services Australia Work for the Dole (WFD) activities.

Are you a natural educator and passionate about Reconciliation?

We need volunteers who have empathy with people and are able to walk around with visitors to help them find their appointments. When trained you will be able to give directions clearly to those seeking guidance. Visitors appreciate assistance given by friendly, helpful people.
