A volunteer visitor visits an older person who is at risk of social isolation. Volunteer visitors visit 1 hour weekly or fortnightly and share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game.
for MS Plus - Community Services
We are seeking Macedonian-speaking volunteer visitors who would love to bring joy to an older person's life through friendship. We believe that everyone deserves a friend, and volunteer visitors play a vital role in reducing loneliness while bringing a smile and companionship to older people in the community. This role makes a positive difference to another person, reduces loneliness in our community, brings mutual joy and is flexible.
