Volunteers play a vital role in helping St Mary’s House of Welcome (SMHOW) achieve its mission and provide invaluable support across many areas of the organisation. The purpose of the Kitchen Service Volunteer role is to prepare and serve food for the SMHOW service users so that they can enjoy a nutritious meal which they otherwise may not be able to access.

Join The Violet Initiative as a Violet Guide and support Australians through one of life's most challenging stages. Dedicate 4 hours a week from home, providing compassionate phone support to caregivers and the bereaved. Violet Guides deliver this support over the phone, at no cost to the carer. Every Guide receives full training and on-going support, but most importantly, every Guide comes with the lived experience of caring for someone they love. Apply by Wednesday 5 June 2024.
