YPRL is seeking a new **Reading Dogs team** to join Thomastown Library. Our Reading Dogs program promotes children’s literacy by having children read aloud to dogs at the library. Our mission is to make reading fun and enjoyable for children so that they become confident and lifelong readers. Reading Dogs are accredited companion animals who volunteer with their owner/handler as a team by facilitating reading sessions. We’re seeking a hardworking and dedicated volunteer with initiative, enthusiasm and flexibility to join our animal welfare team as a HQ Assistant. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting our dedicated vet and rescue team by assisting with everyday tasks to help around the clinic.

In joining Collingwood Children's Farm Busy Bees Volunteer program, you get the opportunity to immerse yourself in the nature and beauty that the Farm has to offer, whilst learning about the daily operations from our experienced and passionate team. But that's not all! You’ll be rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty completing some vital farm jobs. You’ll get a chance to engage with like-minded people who share your passion for plants, animals and community connection.
