The Bridge is always looking for volunteers that are willing to support people living with disabilities and disadvantaged backgrounds to enjoy a range of recreational and sporting activities. We have a wide range of activities that our participants can engage in and each activity is in need of volunteers to assist our staff and support workers.

For some people this is their only social interaction during the week, so this is a crucial community service, and our amazing volunteers are truly at the heart of making this possible. We are looking for female volunteer who can speak Italian to spend some quality time with an elderly lady who lives in Avondale Heights. Your visit may be spent reminiscing about the good old days and family, celebrating Italian festivities while sitting around having a cuppa or enjoying a leisurely activity like going for a short walk, do a puzzle, read Italian stories etc.
