We have a large suite of programs to offer the public. We are expanding into the City of Knox from Break 40 Cafe at 40/1880 Ferntree Gully Rd. We need local volunteers to assist us to recruit participants to our programs and to help cement these programs as regular fixtures for the local community. These are all groups with a therapeutic angle (eg men's & women's support groups, artistic expression opportunity groups like open mic nights, kids breakfast club or after-school safe spaces.

Have you ever wished you had a mentor, an extra adult to talk to when you were growing up? Then become a mentor, who spends an hour a week being a positive role model, listening and doing activities with a student for 1 hour each week during school hours during the school year. EdConnect Australia are seeking volunteers with general life skills to help young people in secondary schools who are at risk of disengaging in education.
Mentoring Men has available volunteer positions for men to be professionally trained to support other men in our community. You will have the opportunity to help and guide a man in need and be a part of our organisation's mission to support men in their life journey. Join The Violet Initiative as a Violet Guide and support Australians through one of life's most challenging stages. Dedicate 4 hours a week from home, providing compassionate phone support to caregivers and the bereaved. Violet Guides deliver this support over the phone, at no cost to the carer. Every Guide receives full training and on-going support, but most importantly, every Guide comes with the lived experience of caring for someone they love. Apply by Wednesday 5 June 2024.
