Behind the scenes, our General Hand Volunteers ensure that our Night Patrol vehicles are fully stocked and ready to go; assisting with the collection and transportation of food, clothing and other material aid items that will be provided during service, to our companions.

Calling all hipsters! Vinnies is coming to Lonsdale Street, Braddon and if you’re a hipster at heart (of any age) this is the volunteer job for you. Whether you’re a die-hard thrifter, eco-lover or someone who loves the warm fuzzies you get from meeting new people, learning new stuff, and helping others.

Any volunteer mechanics who would like to help us fix cars and train disadvantaged people in the skills to maintain a car would be appreciated. We have a car program where our program participants earn the chance to buy a fixed up car so they can undertake meaningful employment in the future.
