“Memory Lane Cafés” is a social support program that offers a welcoming, semi-supported event where people can gather and relax, knowing it is a dementia-friendly space. Volunteers are not required to have hospitality/ barista experience – this is not a café, it’s a social group! If you can use a kettle or urn that’s a bonus!

Drive for Life is a driver training and mentoring program that equips young people who are overcoming adversity, to obtain their drivers licence. The program removes the barriers and provides a pathway towards positive role models, developing independent life skills and improving employment prospects. We also require sorting and cleaning of the donations, so they are suitable for recipients. The Emergency Relief Food Pantry prepares food parcels for disadvantaged members of the local community. We are looking for someone to assist with driving to rescue / collect food for our Pantry. Some moderate lifting will be required. A current Car Drivers License will be necessary. Steel cap boots may be required.

Help build and support your community by providing support for our social groups, enabling them to attend outings / activities / events in the Community. Our volunteer drivers are needed to assist with the driving of our 10 - 12 seater Toyota HiAce mini-bus (C Class Licence is sufficient). Our volunteers are highly valued and appreciated and we could not provide outings for our community without them! Applicants would need to be fully vaccinated and be eligible for a Blue Card.
