Stall Assistant Volunteers to help run the Brisbane Tool Library Stall at the annual Green Heart Fair at Victoria Park, Herston. We will give you all the information so you can chat with the passing festival goers about the Brisbane Tool Library. It's lots of fun explaining the Tool Library operations. The general public are often intrigued and love the concept of a Tool Library! So, it's very rewarding getting all the compliments & positive feedback.

Legacy Brisbane is reaching out for wonderful volunteers to help at our annual Canungra Combat Challenge (C3). The Challenge will be held at the Kokoda Barracks in Canungra on Saturday, 15 June 2024. The funds raised go towards supporting the families, widows/widowers and children of those who have served our country and have been injured or killed as a result of their service.

Volunteer Visitors are needed to change the lives of people living in Residential Aged Care. Spend time with one or a small group of residents to build friendships and help out in a range of different activities to suit your interests.

Volunteers are requested to assist with the delivery of State Library of Queensland's Winter Holiday Program - free activities and ticketed workshops for children aged 0 to 12 years to entertain and inspire creativity. 

The Emergency Relief Food Pantry rescues food and prepares food parcels for disadvantaged members of the local community. We are looking for volunteers to assist with the collection of food, and the packing and distribution of these food parcels on weekdays from 9am - 1pm. Help is also needed after those hours on some days to receive & unpack/store rescued food (e.g, 10am - 2pm, or 12pm - 4pm.) Some moderate to heavy lifting will be required, and drivers will need a clean driver's licence.

BinderKeepers Inc is community orientated and provides members books covering from baby to senior ages for borrowing. Approximately once per month, helpers are required to support experienced volunteers with setting up Events, keeping tables tidy and packing up at the end of a day. These days are very social for Volunteers as they meet and greet the general public.

Book sorters are required to sort donated books for shelving for our main collection. The collection is a quite valuable community asset. The collection is in particular targeted to Australian authors and Australiana. Further there is a section of books, puzzles, games and bric a brac that is stored for future sales and /or donation.

Support us for a working bee to care for and maintain the Tulla-yugaipa dhagun trail at Boondall Wetlands Environment Centre. If you don't know much about plants, that’s okay - staff and volunteers will help you learn more!
