Our reservoir reserves are home to beautiful landscapes and unique flora and fauna. Join a group of like-minded people and help nurture these special places. You'll be actively involved in caring for your local reservoir reserve and enhancing the experience for visitors. While the primary role of the SES is to respond to incidents involving floods and storms, it also provides crucial support and assistance to other emergency service organisations. SES is open to men and women with a reasonable degree of physical fitness and a passion to get involved within their community. When a natural disaster strikes or an emergency situation arises, DFES’s SES volunteers can be found providing a wide range of volunteer services to help the community.
