FareShare’s mission is simple. We rescue food that would otherwise go to waste and cook it into free, nutritious meals for people in hardship. Our corporate volunteering program is a fun and engaging way to make a tangible difference to Queenslanders doing it tough. The Open Support Community Companion Program offers one to one phone calls to people experiencing social isolation and/or loneliness. This volunteer role offers companionship and social support based on the Open Support values of Compassion, Dignity, Excellence, Justice and Unity.
